Meet Baxter

{ seven weeks old }

After a three year wait, we have finally found the perfect little pup. A little over four weeks ago, after spending hours on a local ad website, we stumbled upon his ad. With close to 200 page views I assumed he had already been snatched up. To my surprise, Justin was texting with the current owners and we set up an appointment to meet with them in Provo. That night, after standing in freezing empty mall parking lot, we ended up bringing him home.

Fast forward a few weeks, and Baxter has become the piece in our lives we didn't know we were missing. He has the sweetest personality and we can not get enough of him. A few fun facts about our little guy...

He always has time for belly scratches.
He absolutely loathes bath time.
He has a thing for zippers and velcro.
He likes to spend morning snuggling with dad, and evening snuggling with mom.
He takes pieces of food out of his bowl and walks a few steps away to eat them.
He hates my cheetah print slippers with a passion.
He loves the snow on our patio, but is unsure of snow around the neighborhood.
He does not like to be pet when he's trying to sleep.
He goes through an hour of pure insanity before bed time.
His favorite time of day is when mom and dad are both home and he is snuggling in between us.

Needless to say, he was worth every second of the wait. We love our little nugget and he's the perfect fit to our little family!
